Happy Sunday! Or as I like to say “Jesus Day!”.
My 4th of July was filled with fun, friends, family and..junk food. Time for this THM to get back on track!
I’ve been experimenting with making my own homemade alternative for soda. Soda is my weakness. I like nothing more than a good cold Dr. Pepper over ice! Mmm. At the store, I picked up some Root Beer Flavoring, Caramel Extract and some Canada Dry carbonated water in cans. I have made homemade Root Beer, but I am working on perfecting the whole sweetener to flavoring to soda ratio.
I did however find something yummy to sip on that tastes just like a caramel apple!
Here’s how I did it!
I combined 1 can of Canada Dry carbonated water with 1tsp. Caramel Extract. I added about 3 T. Apple Cider Vinegar and I added some plan-approved sweetener to taste.
Perfect over some ice. Cute mason jar and straw optional 😉
