The other day, I was looking around my house and I felt overwhelmed at the amount of..stuff. I’m frugal at heart, so many times if something is free or a great deal, I’ll pick it up because, well, it was a great deal! This leads to a lot of random eBooks, DVDs and oh so many tot toys. Ruth Soukoup’s new book, “Unstuffed” is written just for women like myself. If you suffer from too much stuff, you’ll love hearing my thoughts on this book!
Unstuffed isn’t written by an organization expert. It’s written by a woman like the rest of us. Someone who has randomly accumulated so much stuff seemingly overnight. Ruth lets us in on her personal story of how her home got so stuffed and she gives her helpful tips for decluttering. Her tips for managing papers, kid’s stuff and boundaries for accepting new stuff into your home are absolute game changers.
This book doesn’t just cover physical clutter, though. Ruth talks about the need for releasing the clutter in our minds and souls as well. She combines Scriptural truth with practical common sense to give us a plan that really works. I especially loved her take on fighting the busyness that is so glorified in today’s world.
If you suffer from a stuff overload, check this book out!
