I recognized Sarah Mae as the co-author of one of my favorite books, “Desperate”. I was so excited to see that she had an organization book out!
This is the most unique book on homemaking that I’ve ever read. It’s also one of the most interesting. As someone who is naturally organized, I appreciated the grace-filled approach that Sarah brings to the table. This book provides you with a sense of balance, which is rare to find in this genre! This book is, essentially, a 31-day challenge to get your heart and home in order.
Each day starts out with a devotional. The devotionals have a few verses to focus on and some questions that help you go more in-depth with the passage. These Scriptures were so encouraging and they really centered my heart. After the devotional, there is a cleaning challenge. I liked the cleaning challenges, though I found that if I only did what was mentioned..my house would be a wreck!
I think this book is a great resource for homemakers, particularly those who are organizationally challenged. It’s a great way to get started on de-cluttering and it would be a great gift for a new wife or Mama.
