I was privileged to read an advance copy of this book in exchange of my honest review.
I have heard of Katie Ganshert (She lives in Iowa like me!) but I had never read one of her books before Life After. Now, I’m frantically searching for more of her novels! This book centers around the struggle to let go after tragedy. After a tragic accident, a lone survivor is obsessed with creating closure in places where none is to be found. I loved watching the main character find herself by creating peace with each victim. I really appreciated Katie’s style of storytelling. The secondary characters really shone in this book and their storylines were made evident. This book is highly emotional, yet not flighty. You won’t be able to put this one down.
